Type 4 nylon parachute cord, often referred to as "750" or simply "paracord," is used by the military in rigging cargo parachutes, in situations where the more common Type 3 ("550") isn't strong enough. Wilderness professionals and outdoorsmen frequently use Type 4 parachute cord as general purpose utility cordage due to its high strength and 11 core strands.  Our 750 paracord meets or exceeds military specification MIL-C-5040h and PIA-C-5040 requirements.  This means that you can count on our parachute cord for a consistently high level of quality and reliability.

750 parachute cord is manufactured using kernmantle construction.  This means it has a braided nylon sheath with 3-ply nylon filler (core strands).
